Is this a physical thing you post to me?
No. You get a PDF. You print it at home (or at any print shop), cut it out and fold it. Nothing ships, nothing gets lost in the mail, and the file is yours the second the payment clears.
What exactly is in the file?
One A4 page at 300 dpi. On it: the fold-out cross that becomes the cube (back wall, floor, two side walls, front logo band) plus the loose scene pieces you cut out and glue in, including a few spare alternates so you can pick the arrangement you like.
How big is the finished cube?
About 9.4 cm per side printed at 100%. Print at 78% and you get roughly a 7.3 cm cube, which is the size that drops into the cheap clear display boxes. Both look right. Pick the one that matches your shelf.
I'm on US Letter paper, not A4.
Set your printer to "scale to fit" or 94%. The cube comes out a hair smaller and everything still lines up. Do not use "fit to page" with auto-rotate on, it crops the loose pieces at the bottom.
How do I know my printer will not resize it?
Print the free one-page check sheet and measure the bar on it. If the bar reads 100 mm your printer is honest and every kit prints true at 100%. If it reads something else, the sheet tells you the percentage to use. It is linked from the build guide and it costs you one sheet of paper.
What paper should I use?
Card stock, 160 to 250 gsm. Regular 80 gsm paper works but the walls go floppy and the colours sit flatter. Matte holds the ink best. Glossy photo paper looks great and fights you at every fold.
What else do I need?
Scissors or a craft knife, a ruler, and a glue stick. A bone folder or the back of a butter knife makes cleaner creases. That is the whole list.
How long does it take?
About an hour, most of it cutting. It is the good kind of hour. Nothing in it needs a steady surgeon's hand except the small character pieces.
Can I print it more than once?
Yes. It is your file, print it as many times as you like for yourself. Ruined a fold? Print another. What you cannot do is share the file or sell what you build. See the licence.
Can I sell the cubes I build?
No. These are personal-use kits of fan-made art. Build them, gift them, photograph them, but do not sell them.

Will the pieces actually line up?
Yes. Every kit is generated from geometry taken off sheets that were printed and built by hand first, and the generator is checked against that physical reference to under a millimetre. Cut on the line and the walls meet.

No. StayCubic is unofficial fan-made papercraft. Every game and every scene belongs to the people who made it. I just fold them.
